From 1942 to 1945, the Nazi empire oversaw the worst killing spree in history, in which the Jews of Europe were declared to be racial inferiors and targeted for annihilation. Overseen by the Waffen-SS, Hitler’s Third Reich was able to murder six million Jews–about 1/3 the European total–as well as hundreds of thousands of Slavs, Poles, Czechs, Jehovah’s Witnesses, homosexual men, Gypsies/Roma, and whoever else the Nazi party declared unworthy of existence. The resulting slaughter is called in English the Holocaust (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warsaw_Ghetto_Uprising#/media/File:Stroop_Report_-_Warsaw_Ghetto_Uprising_BW.jpg.), or in Hebrew Shoah.
Yad Vashem ( יָד וַשֵׁם; “a memorial and a name”) is the world Holocaust remembrance center in Jerusalem, dedicated to the millions of innocent lives lost and to those who may yet be saved from anti-Semitic and all forms of violent persecution. One need be neither a survivor nor a Jew to fully appreciate its transcendent moral appeal to all present and future humanity.
Please visit the museum virtually, Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Center (Links to an external site.), select and identify two of its online exhibits, and answer the following in 2-3 strong paragraphs per question. Due by the end of 17 NOV.
What individual persons do the exhibits focus on? What were their nationalities, occupations, aspirations, and other attributes, and how did they find themselves in harm’s way?
What key decisions were taken that resulted in the fates of the persons described? How might events have turned out differently?
What moral lessons do you draw from what you have seen and experienced? In what way(s) are your own philosophical or theological commitments refined or challenged?

The question of humanitarian intervention in the domestic affairs of a sovereign

The question of humanitarian intervention in the domestic affairs of a sovereign state by the international community has long been debated in international politics. Please, elaborate this debate between sovereignty and humanitarian intervention. When you write your essay, you may want to consider the following questions; what justifies humanitarian intervention? How and when should it be exercised and under whose authority? What should be done if humanitarian intervention is misused or abused? Is a coercive, and in particular, military action the best option?
In your answer, be sure to apply all the IR theories you have learned in class (realism, liberal institutionalism, constructivism, Democratic Peace Theory, theories of ethnic conflicts, and the clash of civilizations, etc.) and to use empirical and relevant examples in real-world politics (using the cases of UN Security Council and the International Criminal Court).
You will synthesize the questions to create one essay. Using the materials from the course textbook, lectures, discussions, readings, and analysis, you will have to elaborate your thoughts on the questions of the essay. The following format on the questions must be used: around 1,200-1,500 words, double spaced, times new roman 12pt font, 1” margins. You then make your answer into one single MS Word and post it on ENGAGE. No late submission will be accepted. I strongly encourage you to minimize citations of sources since I am interested in what you think. You can cite any sources using any proper citation formats (APA, Chicago, etc.) if you wish, though. Don’t simply rewrite or copy what the textbook or lecture notes say. It is due on 11:59PM on Sunday.

essay should include A brief introduction, which sets out the key question, and very quickly overviews your argument and conclusion. (This is a good way to show that you understand what the essay is all about). • A substantive discussion of the relevant literature. This is usually the bulk of an essay. • A good conclusion, which summarises your own views and findings.
Essay writing involves at least three skills, namely:
• The ability to understand the question – what is the examiner asking you to consider? (This sounds simple, but is often trickier than you think. Put some effort into working out exactly what you need to look at and focus on, and just as important, what is not relevant to the essay.)
• The ability to read and understand relevant material, and to present this material in a clear and systematic way. This requires comprehension skills, as well as analytic skills.
• The ability to engage with the material critically – do you think that the arguments under review are convincing? Or do you disagree? Why do you say this? Your opinions count – but they must be developed through an engagement with the literature.

•i would like to project to work toward destigmatizing aids while remaining culturally sensitive (education).

Need to creat an assets map for my project
here is the note that what the assets map should be about
– the project I would like to tackle. It is a pilot project for HIV support, education, and healthcare in Nsanje, Malawi. The population in Nsanje is 300,000.
•I will accomplish this with a “train the trainer” approach. There is a health center in Malawi. I can work with doctors there to run the program. The doctors will train specialists to operate rotating “community resource hubs.”
• The specialists will manage the resource hub offering education, information, and HIV self-tests.
•I would like to project to work toward destigmatizing Aids while remaining culturally sensitive (education).
• This project has been identified as a need to fill a missing link in the fight against AIDS in Malawi.
•I have a budget of $150 thousand to establish this pilot. I would like to find a way for the ongoing operation to be self-funded (more research is required here).
o Ideas for this are a website, social media, donations from a testing company, and a fundraising event.
